Been a faithful watcher from the beginning but this season is painful. I noticed I stopped paying attention while watching and knew it was time to delete it off the DVR.

I'm on episode 4...is it not worth finishing?

I am almost done with season 3 and have really enjoyed it so far. Several posters commented on S3 going down hill but I have not felt like it has at all. I have liked it as much as the first two.

Damn, I haven't watched episode 5 yet
I've watched the entire series and new season but it's been hard. I think the hardest thing about this season is Quinn's characters regression after surviving a closed chamber chemical attack. I just hope there is some type of payoff this season for giving the show a pass on Quinn surviving a gas chamber.

Didn't see last nights episode, but so far this season has been the worse.

My friend who watches said the beginning of this season was rough, but it gets good. I just binge watch them all at the end of the season. May be worth waiting it out.

stopped watching midway through season 5.
doesn't take away from the fact seasons 1 & 2 were balls to to the wall awesome.

I didn't watch last night, but I haven't hated this season.
mild spoilers below**
although I do wish Carrie would stop being a bleeding heart and get back in the CIA.
I do think it will get interesting soon with Quinn and the guy across the street

I'm current through last night's episode. It is beyond bad this season.
I would have quit a long time ago if I didn't have a twinge of OCD when it comes to televisions shows. I literally cannot stop watching one if I get more than a few episodes in, no matter how awful or bad it gets. This show is going to make me cut my throat because of it.

last episode was tough
I'm realizing it's closer and closer to "24" with each episode (and I'm a big fan of 24)
But, I liked Homeland so much at first, as it was much more gritty than the usual tropes of Jack Bauer. It was at least, somewhat grounded. But now, it's just rubber stamping that same ole, drug out exercise of a plot device. "US Government agent is a mole with intent to do harm"
seen it

how is Carrie once again at the center of a motherfricking terrorist plot?
Don't you think the terrorists would get the hint by now and shoot her between her bug eyes?

I watched through s2, real good television. I felt it ended there and did not continue, based on other opinions, that was a good choice.

if quinns german friend would just get naked, that would make this season alot better

Just now got to watch last week's episode and it is starting to pick up, but have to agree that this season had been a huge let down.
Posted on 2/28/17 at 12:57 pm to TigerLunatik
the first few were meh but i agree the last episode was really good.
if they end the season with a storyline of Dar vs Carrie/Saul im all in.

I feel like they went "all in" on Hillary winning and the liberals continued "fundamental change."
It feels preachy now. And Carrie has transformed from the first couple of seasons where she'd do anything to defend the Homeland to now she's a protester??? The entire show now feels like it is trying to push this agenda of "Americans bad, CIA evil, everything we do is either lies or illegal." And I'm just tired of being forced fed all this political crap.
Just get back to the evil terrorist and leave the political shite at the door and the show might be good again.
But for now it is definitely something I watch in the background while doing chores.
