They are cheaper. Take their price to local tire shop and more than likely they will match the price.

I'm sure google can help you find cheaper tires if you want them. Costco's $15 per tire installation covers lifetime balance and rotations, road hazards, etc so I'd imagine their customer service would be a point in their favor if you're trying to decide.

Nope, no one has ever bought tires from Costco, you would be the first. Good luck and make us proud.

Yes. Bought my wife's tires for her SUV there. If I remember correctly, they offered the best prices I had found in Baton Rouge.

I used Sam's club and saved about 300 on a set. Costco is about the same.

not quite kirkland, but they have some Costco-specific Michelins like the X Radial LT which is the same tire as the LTX-MS2 but cheaper

Yes. Wait till the Michelin's or Firestone's are offered with $70 off. Right now it is the Michelin's: LINK

I did, but I didn't like the experience. First off their tire guys are idiots. They didn't install my sensors right. Then they couldn't balance the tires correctly so they just wrote that my wheels were warped (all four of them...), which would mean the tires couldn't be warranted. Now these aren't 20's they are 17"s and 265 width with a 70% aspect ratio. So big tires. No way the wheels were warped. I wanted to prove they were wrong so I paid to have all the tires taken off and put back on and then rebalanced. Brought invoice in and showed to manager. then was told they wouldn't be warranted because I got work done at a shop other than Costco.

I called a rep at corporate and told them everything and they refunded 30% of the costs of the tires. So I still got a great deal, but man was it a headache.

I won't go back to the NOLA costco for tires.
Then they are 70k mile tires, 40k miles in and probably have only 5-10k miles left on them.

I'm going back to Goodyear's after these.

Bought a set last year. They weren't much cheaper but I got a piece of metal in the side wall about 2 weeks later. Brought the truck in and they replaced that tire with a brand new one at no cost or headache.
I'd buy from them again.

I drive a twinky Acura TSX with 47,000 miles and my tires will need to be changed soon. I thought about going to Costco and I know nothing about tires.

What kind of tires should in be looking for?

In all seriousness, I bought 4 tires and a 5th new one was the trunk...not sure if it was a special or something but I'm not complaining

Advertised tire mileage doesn't mean anything when driving on New Orleans roads.

I have tires from Costco. I just love the company, so I will buy a ton of products from them.
