The fact that the GOP still believes they can make liberals like them if they just apologize enough is why Trump kicked their arse.
You'd think they'd learn but apparently, they're as hard-headed as the protesting liberals

Yeah but implementing this in an intellectually sound way is tough. This administration, IMO, is the first time we've really seen the troll elements put to use for (what we're promised will be) substantive gains.
It's just way too early to see what the payoff will be. I agree generally that you can't wilt under attack and have much impact. But I think that's a generalized rule we're applying to a more specific situation when it comes to characters like Bannon and Milo and the like.

There's a reason why they're opposed to the GOP. They're liberals and don't want them to be successful. Apologizing and making nice with your opponents is a losers game.
It's one good reason why I think McCain is talking shite to Trump right now. He just had a come to jesus moment and knows he fricked up in 2000 and 2008 as he was so weak kneed as the complete opposite of what Trump was in 2016.

You do realize that they have invited Trump to speak at CPAC right?

Most here don't care about the pedo stuff, but when the video of Milo getting banged by a black dude lands heads here will explode.

It's one of the reasons the Republican Party lost me.
I grew tired of them being weak, ineffective pussies.

And CPAC shouldn't have invited Milo. Not because he's a pedo who may say pedo things, but because he sells outlandishness.
That is, of course, if CPAC wants to be taken seriously. I'm not involved in it so it doesn't make much difference to me, but IMO they brought it on themselves. There is a time and place for Milo, but I wouldn't think CPAC would be it. Or at least, if they seek to carve out a spot for him, they should have assumed controversy may take over the substance of what they're trying to accomplish.
Blending ideological conservatives with trolling elements is going to continue to be a messy affair. I'm not necessarily opposed to either contingent, they just don't really blend neatly despite the services each side can provide the other.
As if that's the story that will be written
"CPAC invited pedo nazi"
And CPAC will fight back just as hard as they did here, but even if they do push back, hey there was a reason you uninvited the guy. No one was writing articles about trolling, they were writing articles that he was a pederast and a nazi

Lana Dunham molests her sister for a decade and goes on the view to a crowd of applause...
Milo talks about his own experience as a victim of sexual abuse and gets called a pedophile.
This is what the left has turned into.

Wow did CPAC just give in due to fear of outraging liberals?
No, turns out people find statements normalizing pedo behavior to be out of line with conservative values.

That's not what milo did at all. These are outright smears from you on the left. It's disgusting.

Please don't entertain them with the idea that Trump won because of that fricking frog and idiots like JJdoc.

A lot more people would have watched. Now? Not as many. Their loss.
