I dug the first episode. A little slow and I'm not sure how long they can hide who died but I'm in for the the series. I think it's only 7 episodes.

I thought the first episode was pretty good. Definitely going to tune in again next week.

I didn't realize the book hid the death until the end. That is impressive. I asked a friend that read the book today and she loved it.

They did. The format of the show is similar to the book, with the interviews mixed in with the story.

scenery is beautiful. Reminds me of Friends where they have this ridiculous house and no idea what they do.

Just wanted to bump the thread if anyone was still watching. I love this show, I know it comes across as a "chick" show but the interactions between the ladies themselves and then them and their husbands is gold. The writing on this show is amazing, as well as the scenery and soundtrack. I'm all in on it, sad to see it as a limited series.
I haven't read the book, so obviously not sure where it is going. I love Witherspoon and Kidman's characters.

Agree with everyone. My wife and I caught up on it yesterday afternoon and watched last night's episode. We're always looking for something to watch together and this fits. Pretty good show, wish it were a long term series, rather than a mini-series.
