Shop better and you'll eat better. This was good advice:

quote:

Dedicate your Sunday Afternoon to making your meals for the week. It's what I do. Invest in Rubbermaid container set.

Pretty much all I eat comes from these items:

Eggs
Chicken
Steak
Ground Beef
Breakfast Sausage
Bacon
Fish/Shrimp

Cheese
Avocado
Olive Oil
Cottage cheese
Milk
Greek Yogurt
Breyers Natural Vanilla Ice Cream

Steel Cut Oats
White or Brown Rice
Beans
Sweet Potatoes
Baby Potatoes
Breakfast Potatoes
Pasta with Tomato Sauce

Broccoli
Brussel Sprouts
Onions
Kale

Berries
Bananas

Also, if you can't cook (I can't cook for shite), go to Whole Foods or Fresh Market and buy already cooked foods like London Broil, roasted chicken, greens, Salmon, etc...

Buy a nutribullet and blend up spinach/kale, raw beets, banana, blueberries, strawberry, fiber and protein powder for morning/night meal.

Eat chicken, broccoli, salmon, almonds, avocado, bananas, turkey meat, REAL lunch meat, carrots, canned green beans...for about 6 months mix combinations of these foods for your meals and you'll be good to go.

I really need to start doing this with dinner. I don't eat nearly enough vegetables

This is good advice as well.

It sounds like dude doesn't have access to an oven so he'll have to get creative with a blender and microwave.

I'm triggered.

Breakfast--coffee

Lunch--salad with chicken from a Kroger rotisserie

Dinner--meat, decent veggies (asparagus, squash, etc), maybe some brown rice or a cold beer.

Just use the MyFitnessPal app and watch your calories. Cut out the sugar and reduce your bread/carb intake. It's not that hard.

OT answer:
If you're eating a hot pocket while restricting your diet then it probably doesn't matter because you won't stick to it anyway, fatass.

Alternative: stay away from frozen foods. Just because they say lean or healthy doesn't mean they are.

Lean pockets are not that bad

Holy sh*t. The collective misinformation and/or elective ignorance never ceases to amaze me in these threads.

Sodium/sugar/carbs = 800/11/44, all wrapped up into an inedible, compressed gluten sheath that your digestive system will overwork to process.

Not bad? I don't know if you could squeeze more bad into 290 calories if you tried.

Restrict what you're drinking to water/coconut water and coffee if you drink it.

Lunch: Lean Pocket,

Might want to do some grilled or baked chicken breast with sweet potatoes or a veggie instead. You can eat three times as much good food for what one of those things are doing to you.

If you are really trying to lose weight or lean out, you should not have more than 1200 milligrams of salt per day. One of these has over 50% of your daily sodium allowance.
