sounds like she is keen on reading microindicators....kind of like those people on TV that claim they can call out a liar by watching their testimony

Mine's a lawyer and sharp as a tack when it comes to bookish things. Her common sense is a bit lacking though.

I overheard my wife the other day explaining to my 6 year old son where thunder comes from..."It's when two clouds run into each other"...Sad thing is she wasn't trying to dumb down the answer for him...its what she really thought...I was at a loss for words...Bless her heart!

First wife: Dumb as a box of hammers. As we got older, her lack of intelligence seemed to only get worse
Second wife: Smarter than me in math and science. Seriously intelligent within her industry and has risen above her peers. No damn common sense at all. Grown up in BR but needs GPS to Siegen Lane.

Graduated with a 3.97 in accounting (1 B her last semester), bilingual, and passed all her CPA exams on the first try with 87%'s are higher so pretty smart. Though dating me knocks down her IQ a few points.

Mine is street smart and book smart. She took care of her family since she was 16 and put her self through school.

Smarter than me. She never took an IQ test, but I'm assuming it's north of 120.

This is my wife except the lawyer part. Graduated in governemnt with a 4.0, got into law school, freaked on moving day because of leaving her mom and then went into sales. Smart as shite when it comes to memorizing books, dumb as hell on everything else.
Honestly I don't see how the hell she graduated with a 4.0. A couple years ago she couldn't even tell me who the Vice President was when I called her out on it. and She is dumb as all get out on everything else. But for all that, she makes twice as much as me and Im the one with the damn engineering degree so she can't be too stupid.

Wife has a Math degree from UF and is an actuary so very smart. Lacks some street smarts though but surprisingly socialable for an actuary
