LSU vs. Kentucky 2007 is another one.

Les would have run the ball there and won the game and would not have "thrown" it away.

Now this is a special kind of stupid...

Why do you feel it necessary to shite on LSU's former head coach? You sir are a miserable human being.

With as many 4th quarter comebacks as Les coached you could actually argue the opposite. This thread is a holocaust of dumb.

Was Les coaching the Falcons last night? It sure felt like I was watching one of his epic coaching meltdowns.
Send me an example where LSU was up by 25 then loss

Not 25 points, but he did blow a 21 point lead against Tennessee in 2005.

Blew a 16 point lead against Arkansas in 2008 as well.

2007 against Kentucky. Charles Scott ran over and past the Kentucky D in the first half, but we spent the entire second half in 3 and 4 wide receiver sets and blew a game that easily could have cost us a national championship.

How many leads did LSU ever blow under Les? You must not have been watching. On 3rd and 1 Les would have run the ball instead of taking a 7 step drop and taking a sack.

Stupid post. The Falcons played on thd biggest stage and you toil in anonymity in your basement trashing a decent man after he is no longer at LSU. You are pathetic.

At home and at night no less.
The division displayed with these posts in this thread illustrates to me why he had to go. One more season of Les at LSU and there would have been soccer style brawls in the stands after a loss, hell...maybe even a win.

I thought the same thing during the 2nd half. Atlanta completely went in to a shell.

Ryan threw the ball 23 times in 4 quarters and a possession in overtime. That's 'too much'?

Ryan never touched the ball in OT.

Les has the most come from behind victories for LSU. His style of play was more like the Patriots if we are being honest.
Something else to point out. Bill had them practicing in pads the week of the super bowl... Sound like another coach? People bitch and complain about practicing too much, but what team outlasted the other?

Some of these people live miserable lives. They see a chance to take a potshot at Les (or any current or former LSU coach) and they're take it. It seems to be the only thing that brings them any happiness.

quote:The Falcons passed on two of the first three downs, neither one third down, to start that drive to get to the New England 22. Then they took the sack and the holding penalty to drop out of field goal range. Les would have run three times to start the drive and punted to New England. End result = same.
Les would have run three times, kicked the field goal. Falcons passed on 2nd down and got sacked then had a holding take them out of field goal range.
