I can help but think we crossed a point of no return last night. We've been approaching the Rubicon for some time now, left and right. It doesn't matter what foot took the step. We crossed it. We can't go back.

We stopped talking a long time ago. Last night will be remembered as the night both sides gave up on words and took up swords. When a gay, jew is called a nazi with no sense of irony, when you cannot endure the digs of a admitted professional troll and provocateur, something is wrong. When people are calling for tanks and forget the Bill of Rights because the gap between the two sides is so wide it can't be bridged, it's over.

Words have failed. No one talks. They don't listen. No one.

The good guys lost.

Methinks we should return to a time when dueling was legal. I think the SJWs would be more honorable with their interactions.

We ain't lost shite.

Obama was Dunkirk. Trump is Normandy. We're back but it's a long, painful road to the end.

Hang in there, dude.

So the watershed moment is a couple hundred kids losing their mind at Berkley. I get what you are saying but this isn't the massive moment you think it is.

We aren't even close to the Rubicon yet

This is the tip of the iceberg and it's going to be far worse in 6 months.

Lol.

This shite is just getting started. They aren't about to get any more less insane and come to their senses.

SJWs and Progs see their ideology under attack with Trump in the White House and they aren't just suddenly going to be calm and measured.

They're going to double, triple and quadruple down on this shite.

Actually, we won - in November and yesterday and the day before and the day before...

I'll bet you we win again tomorrow too.

It was as much a watershed moment as that Women's march a couple of weeks ago was.

Uh.. maybe if the morons "protesting" wouldn't riot and burn up stuff and demolish stores and break windows, there would be no need to call for tanks. As it was, they needed water cannons, and lots of them. And not a fatass mayor letting them run wild like a pack of dogs.

As for the rest of your post... hell, we are a strong nation. Gonna take more that a few moronic dipshits tearing up stuff to "cross that Rubicon". Hell... wonder how much they'd riot if they met just the tiniest bit of opposition Probably not quite so much.

This moment happened way back during the 2004 election cycle, when 9/11 and the fallout wars had created a permanent divide and made politics a sport.

Some of you are so dramatic. Guess what? Most people are going about their lives like any other day; just because some idiots made an unnecessary scene doesn't change that.

The radicals of the New Left have been working to make these conditions a reality since 1960, my friend -- 1960 A.D.

OP and any other person who thinks we're getting close to a civil war is just being ridiculous. That's not going to happen, we all have too many connections throughout the country. We are one, even in the worst times we all agree on that. (and this is no where close to the worst times)

So what happens now? Does this just continue for 4 years? 8 years? People are going to die.

1968 once people finally started understanding the Kennedy era was officially over. LBJ announcing he wasn't running, MLK killed, RFK killed.

Fast forward, Obama era came to such a screeching halt that I think protests, social unrest will be worse the next few years than occurred in the late 60's and early 70's.

Eh.

There have been at least two times in US history where protests and riots have been worse in this country.

Civil Rights and Vietnam protests.

The US survived. I think the US scan survive these bunch of pussies running around because they're feelings are hurt.
