progs are trying to do what the Trump-right has done and turn the opposite side's arguments against itself. they're doing this with free market arguments, government overreach arguments, budget arguments, etc
it's just a "gotcha attempt" as usual
and this one is possibly the worst. Jesus taught individual lessons for individuals. he clearly removed this from governmental action. i posted about this on Karma's FB feed this morning

esus didn't give advice on government. He gave advice on personal choices. There is even a passage directly about this: "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's". Also, there is this: "My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But now (or 'as it is') my kingdom is not from the world". And if you're talking about non-governmental action, the US is the biggest charitable country on earth (without a close second). And that comment ignores all third party-government "charity".

you would have a point if governmental immigration policy has anything to do with Christian values

Widows and orphans.
Disheartening when members of the clergy play marbles with Scripture

People don't have to help everyone to be a good Christian. How about we feed and clothe and find shelter for all the folks IN OUR COUNTRY before inviting more problems in.
You atheist clowns have no clue about Christianity and constantly spout pure shite.
I'll be sure to hit confession for my language. frick YOU!
And none of that is hypocritical. Christianity isn't about perfection. Just trying to do better. Maybe next post I won't call you a shitbag heathen.

Deuteronomy 19:14
"You shall not move your neighbor's boundary mark, which the ancestors have set, in your inheritance which you will inherit in the land that the LORD your God gives you to possess"
Deuteronomy 27:17
'Cursed is he who moves his neighbor's boundary mark.' And all the people shall say, 'Amen.'
Proverbs 22:28
Do not move the ancient boundary Which your fathers have set.

the Crusades
The Crusades were a response to centuries of Islamic aggression against Europe. Without Christians fighting back, we'd still be living in medieval conditions. Imagine the Middle East minus oil money. That'd be Europe.

Liberals are a messed up bunch. It's inexplicable how they can care so much about animal abuse/animal rights, illegal aliens/refugees, women's rights, lgbqtabcdef rights, criminal's rights, the environment, but to hell with unborn babies.

I didn't think they read the Bible or knew much about it. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconrolleyes.gif)

You reap what you sew. For decades Moderate Muslims, if there is such a thing, turned a blind eye to extremists, and stuck their heads in the sand. Inaction has consequences.

Progressives are literally trying to destroy the West. You think they care about consistency in logic?

Mostly as a means to mock bible thumpers who choose to look the other way when it suits them, id imagine.

Once again, they try to put everyone in a nice box and label it to fit their narrative. Not everyone on the right is a bible thumper just like not everyone on the left are baby killers.

An atheist has no moral grounds to use any scripture in an argument because he doesn't believe any of it to begin with.
