Who you got?

My first two calls would be to Billy Donovan and Brad Stevens. Both proven college coaches in the NBA. Everyone might say it's a long shot, which it is, but if we want the best we are going to have to pony up and pay them.

At least chose somewhat reasonable longshots like Miller and Hoiberg.

Makes sense that a top 10 NBA coach would want to come to our shitshow of a basketball program

If you're going to dream big, why not Popovich and Phil Jackson?

My first two calls - Buzz Williams and Scott Drew.

Neither guy seems likely to leave their current jobs, but the LSU COULD be alluring.

Drew has done an outstanding job at Baylor building that program to a high level after essentially starting over from the death penalty. Most in the Big 12 think his recruiting tactics are "shady", but as far as I know, he hasn't been hit with sanctions. He already recruits Louisiana hard anyway AND he would come with the all important stamp of approval from Dale Brown. LSU would have to pay a ton to get him, but you can't deny that what he has done at Baylor is remarkable. However, there may be a ceiling on what he can do at Baylor.

Williams simply just doesn't make sense at Va. Tech. That program has never been worth a damn and they sit in a brutal basketball conference. Even if Williams does a great job, is he going to be able to consistently compete with UNC, Duke, UVA, Louisville, Notre Dame, year after year? It's still curious as to why he left Marquette for a bottom-feeder program like Va. Tech, but you can't imagine he left thinking Blacksburg was his final destination. Texas guy with big personality. His first HC job was at UNO. I think he could start to recruit LA/TX well almost immediately and the recruiting competition would be weaker (Would you rather compete with UNC, Duke, UVA, Maryland, West Virginia for local recruits or Miss. St., A&M, Ole Miss, Texas, Baylor?)
