Called and said I didn't use it enough to justify the cost.

Anyone know if they can monitor weather or not you are using their programming? Ive been told they can not and this is the excuse I give every time.

Nope, and that's what I used today. I told them I had a Pandora account that costs me $40 per year, so I didn't need them. They tried 3 times to drop it $10, then "talked to a manager." When they got back on the line, it was only $31 for 6 months.

It don't work through the online chat support. They can't cancel your subscription. Must call.

I often wonder how Sirius/XM can stay in business because everyone in these threads gets some kind of outrageous deal to keep a subscription.

Them "I'm sorry that promotion is no longer available".

ME "I'm not paying more than I am now"

Them "We're really sorry but we'll offer you blah blah blah"

ME "Please just cancel. It's mere novelty for me"

Them "Hold on please .. we'll be happy to transfer you to a manager to see what they can do"

Works every time.

Just did it. Got a $350 bill in the mail for two radios for a year. call. Tell them you want to cancel. Then ask to speak to a manager. You must talk to a manager. Got the $30 for 6 months per radio deal due to this thread... They tell you $99 per year is the best they can do about 5 times. Keep telling them you will quit.

I always get the 5 month for $25 deal right off the bat by telling them that is what I want. Never had to do anything else and takes two minutes.

I've got the same deal right now. 5 months for twenty something bucks out the door.

After reading this thread last month, I tried it. I got the 6 months for 30 bucks by simply calling the 800 number on my radio and asking for that exact deal. They didn't try to push me around. It was simple

Anybody ever got them to throw in online streaming or app streaming with a deal? I'd like to be able to do that at work. Just curious if there is a deal for that as well.

I got a Sirius/XM trial with the car I just bought. The audio quality is garbage. I like the music and talk stuff, but I don't like it enough to look past the quality issue.

I like it enough for $5/ month. I think I get that value out of the MLB channel alone. I'm not sure if I would ever pay more though. I do hate when the signal goes out in my parking garage or if I am next to a tall building or trees.
