Im thinking because they had video cameras running. The perp was still armed and dangerous on the bridge. Perp had killed one civilian and one police victim. I'm sure he was considered armed and dangerous. I'm not sure how you could safely be around the guy to negotiate. The police showed a hell of a lot of restraint.

Well Trump should fix that. Any POS who ties up a major roadway like that need to be shot with the quickness. Even if he had not shot two people. This guy caused all types of bullshite yesterday for the entire metro area. We get tougher on this bullshite we will start seeing it a lot less.
