Cop and woman shot (KILLED) on the Westbank- Shooter on CCC threatening to jump

Cop and woman shot on the Westbank
A shooting has left a police officer and another person severely injured on the Westbank of Jefferson Parish.
Initial reports indicate the driver of a U-Haul pickup truck shot the Westwego cop and a civilian at Barataria and Ames Blvd. around 6:30am.
"We have an officer down incident at Barataria and Ames Blvd.," Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Col. John Fortunato said in an email. "A Westwego police officer has been shot. We also have a female victim who has been shot in this same incident."
Both the officer and the other individual, a woman, suffered very serious injuries.
Police immediately began searching for the shooter and the pickup truck. It was described as a white pickup truck with U-Haul decals and heavy damage

Police immediately began searching for the shooter and the pickup truck. It was described as a white pickup truck with U-Haul decals and heavy damage.
Sheriff Newell Normand says it all started as a domestic dispute that led to a car crash. The off duty Westwego officer attempted to assist with the crash scene, when the suspect shot and killed the cop and the woman.
Normand says Officer Michael Louviere was shot in the head. He was 26-year-old. Louviere had a wife and two children, a 4-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son.
The suspect is identified as 32-year-old Sylvester Holt.
The female victim's identity has not been released

Unless that vehicle is stollen, That shooter will be found soon. Probably stollen though

I am normally tough on cops, but this guy just got murdered, leaving behind two kids, for responding to what he thought was just a traffic stop.
