The announcements will be made in 30 minutes on MLB Network. Who do you think will get in and who will be snubbed. Raines and Bagwell are pretty much locks. Pudge and Hoffman are 50/50 tossups for me. If they get in, it'll be with less than 80%. I think Vlad will fall short and I don't see anybody else breaking 60% although Bonds and Clemens will come close.

Results

Jeff Bagwell- 86.2%
Tim Raines- 86.0%
Pudge Rodriguez- 76.0%
Trevor Hoffman- 74.0%
Vladimir Guerrero- 71.7%
Edgar Martinez- 58.6%
Roger Clemens- 54.1%
Barry Bonds- 53.8%
Mike Mussina- 51.8%
Curt Schilling- 45.0%
Lee Smith- 34.2%
Manny Ramirez- 23.8%
Larry Walker- 21.9%
Fred McGriff- 21.7%
Jeff Kent- 16.7%
Gary Sheffield- 13.3%
Billy Wagner- 10.2%
Sammy Sosa- 8.6%

From the numbers they have been showing all day. Raines and Bagwell will sail in. I don't think any others join them since everyone else has been under 75 on the projections. Id like to see Pudge and Hoffman get in as well.

If Pudge goes in then you have to let Rocket and Bonds in IMO. He was suspected for the same thing also. Bagwell was suspected but they say whatever we let him in. I just find it stupid that the writers think they are keeping the HOF a sacred place but refuse to allow the history to be told completely.

FWIW I think Bonds and Clemsons will get in next year or the year after. They are hanging around the 60s and MLB network was showing the softening on the issue.

Got to see Vlad Guerrero up close at Spring Training in 2007. He took a ball that was probably 6 inches off the ground, and a foot off the plate and drove it into the right center gap. He was an amazing hitter

So we let Bagwell and Pudge in because they simply took steroids better than Bonds and Clemens?

i'm not pro or against the roiders, but if you vote for Pudge, and then talk all that shite about not voting for clemens and bonds, then you need to have ur vote taken away.

Pudge was a bigtime juicer, that f'in Rangers team was juiced out of their gourds.

I hope he gets in on the first ballot. I concede the argument that Bonds and Clemens should be in as well if he's in. I grew up a fan of Pudge and of those Rangers teams, and am actually surprised at how excited, nervous, and anxious I am for the upcoming announcement.

Bagwell was never implicated by anybody for using performance enhancing drugs. The Pudge love though is puzzling. Canseco called him out in his book plus he mysteriously shed 30 pounds the year MLB announced the drug testing policy.
