And that same one will make a run for the National Championship again this year. Come the new rankings this week, they will be #1!

DD is probably paid more than a lot of other gymnastics coaches given her tenure. Not sure why people continue to make such shitty comparisons.

I'd be okay if they flipped the salaries of those two. Paying DD more would be a great investment. Her ROI is incredible with what we're paying her compared to JJ.

I'm surprised the gymnastics coach makes that much honestly. I figured it would be around $100K

I generally scoff at the whole gender wage gap controversy, but this might finally be a disparity worth discussing.

Well, I live out of state and listened to the basketball game on a local radio station today. I honestly don't know whether there was a gymnastics match or not because I have NEVER seen them on tv or radio....just sayin....

DD got bumped to $240K this summmer. Sadly CJJ was bumped to $1.5M after his second year.

But I get your point.

Gymnastics put 7600 in PMAC on a freezing night. It'd take 3 games for MBB to put that many in the PMAC.

ETA: Caldwell-Fargas makes $700K a year.

Its sad that this has gotten 30 upvotes for what is a lie. Both of the mens bball SEC games in which we suck and the opponent suck have outdrawn gymnastics one of which was a weeknight. Hell the only home OOC weekend game was vs Texas southern and had similar attendance. The gymnastics team is #2 in the nation on a weekend in a top 10 matchup. The fact that it is close is an indictment on Jones but even still it isnt true.

I'm a big supporter of LSU's non revenue sports, but there's really no point of this thread.

Breaux is paid more than enough in a sport that loses money at the bottom line.

Meanwhile Jones is cheap as frick from a market perspective. We pay him a 13th pace finish salary, so that's what we get. Actually he's far exceeded his salary from a performance-based pay standpoint.

But make no mistake-I want Johnny Jones fired
