I just found out I have 3 year old son

Paternity test has been done, and he's most certainly mine. Any recommendations on how to help raise a 3 year old boy? He is my first child, and it is a bit daunting, especially considering I've had no forewarning. I've already gone through the court system. His name has been changed, and his mother and I are being very amicable at this time. Any positive advice would be greatly appreciated.

Dummy. Never let them swab your cheek without a warrant.

Teach him to use a condom.

Do you recall the conception?

Name him Sue and don't contact him for the next 20 years.

Buy him condoms when he turns 10 to make up for you not being in his life.

Wow! Whatever patience you have....expect to need 10x more to have a healthy relationship with your kid and baby-mama

Do you remember the uh, copulation? Why has it taken this long to track you down? Did she have that many guys to test or were you dodging her? How do your folks feel about it? Do you have a job? Are you involved with another girl at this time...

He is a great kid. I'm actually really happy that he is mine. I would really appreciate any positive advice. It's difficult going from zero to dad in a day.

At least you skipped the infant part.

What kind of general advice are you looking for in suddenly parenting a toddler?
Just spend time with him, dummy
