There's no way on Earth Sloane from Ferris Bueller was a junior in high school. Camron was old as hell too.

I mean, Mia Sara was only around 18 or 19 in that movie. Not too far off.

Robert Redford and Nick Nolte in A Walk in the Woods. They were supposed to be middle aged, 40 something in the book. But were both almost 80.

Henry Fonda was 50 when he played a young Lt. (J.G.) in Mister Roberts.

John Ford tried to get around the obvious age problem by casting older actors to make up the cast of "young" WW II sailors. (William Powell was 62, playing the role of an active Navy ship's physician.)
