Just a question. Who are the guys in the top of the site? Looks like an LSU player, then a guy crying and then two others guys on the right. Not sure who the guy is on the left of the LSU player. LSU player looks like Sean Ochinko.

Oh and fire javi!

The difference is we don't have a legitimate hitting coach now.

Gibbs was a solid hitter, we'll see.

And for the record, Javi was the hitting coach during Grewe's time, so...

And for the record, Javi was promoted from Volunteer Assistant Coach, just like Nolan Cain.

So was Will Davis once upon a time, I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

Will Davis was never promoted past volunteer coach for LSU. So, actually, no he wasn't.

Really looking forward to this season. We've definitely got the pieces for a deep run, hopefully we can make that happen. Hoover might be the only baseball trip I make this year, so I'd love to see us win the SEC tournament in person.

I may be alone on this but I wish LSU would use Louisiana State more in baseball and basketball. Not necessarily all the time but some. Not football but I've always liked seeing it in other sports.

I like when Bama makes it and we dismiss them.

I was there. Good times.

I'm sure your office is a lot more tolerable when that happens, as Bama fans are quick to mention how much they don't care about baseball

See you in Hoover

Oh yeah, I plan on making The Houston Classic, Wally Pontiff, the series against Bama at Bama, the SEC tourney, maybe a regional/ super and I am really hoping on the CWS.

Have fun! I'd love to make a series at the Box this year, but distance is a big factor for me. Who knows though, maybe something will work out.

After the football team failed to meet its lofty expectations, the basketball team appeared likely to struggle in conference play.

Now the LSU baseballers have the chance to make this sports season memorable. They have the team with the potential to win it all, and the fans deserve one team that can deliver.

Why didn't he do a national search and hire an experienced and proven hitting instructor? Not comfortable with these hires/promotions.........
