Looking forward to the Walley classic in Metairie. April 11th they play UL. the Cajuns pitching staff is unreal. going to be a fun game. Two Louisiana teams that I think can go all the way

Smith (3B, leadoff potentially) and Slaughter (1B, but can play all over) as far as position guys. Maybe Templet and Watson too. And JC transfer Coomes could contribute as well, but ABs will be tight.
Pitchers: Kiel, Peterson, Hess, Walker, probably more.

Is Lochridge still with the team?? I know he was hurt all last year but haven't heard much about him

Lochridge is not on the roster this year. It's possible he returns in the future and uses this as a redshirt year, but it will depend on how he handles the back issues he's having. I don't think it's an easy thing to recover from.

Should be a banner year for the whole state. Teams like SLU, tech and mcneese might be as good as they have ever been. LSU is top and ULL and Tulane should be in the top 25 most of the year
