I think Jrue has proven he isn't worth the long term investment

I like the guy and think he's a great player but the most likely way we keep him is to max him out. Saying that I think he's not worth it. Having to max type players on your team should make you competitive and when he plays he doesn't elevate us to that level.

EG is the same guy but just on a better team. Did you guys forget he avg like 20 points when everyone was out. In a bugger role he can score he just suck on D. On this team he's a better fit because we have no scorers.

I really like Jrue but at this point I'm hoping we get rid of everyone in this franchise not named Anthony Davis and start over

This season I was speaking about, obviously. And more specifically, the OP's assertion that he doesn't make us competitive when he plays.
I am not sure I would resign Jrue personally. Not yet at least. That will depend on how the season plays out, how he plays out over 82 games and factors like our draft. But to say Jrue hasn't had an impact in terms of elevating our competitiveness is ridiculous.

Gonna have to roll the dice. We aren't gonna find a better option talent wise (likely by a decent margin) in free agency.
