Not much, but it shows well at night. Hard to find these hard plastic Christmas items anymore unless you go through a commercial house.

My house was on WBRZ tonight. 31K lights. But Radio Jones has the best lights around. Just look at the pic he posted. Incredible, especially watching them synced to music.

Because Americans have pretty much ruined Christas.

It's my least favorite time of the year. Stores are insane, pressure to buy shite, annoying arse music.

We just take advantage of the time off work and rent a house at Gulf Shores and get the whole family together. Buy gifts for the kids the adults just enjoy drinking a few beers and catching up on life.

For the few millennials lucky enough to own a house, they are so house poor due to inflated values and student loan debt, that they have no disposable income to buy lights.

But overall. I have not seen a reduction. Plenty of houses in my middle class hood put them up. Not one of the rental houses do.

Basically described my situation. I love lights but I'm going to spend my carefully rationed discretionary income on gifts for wifey under the tree, not lights on the outside of the house. At least this year.

Renters don't hang up christmas lights on the outside of homes and apartments they don't own. It's just that simple.

I used to. I used to leave them up well after Christmas and someone went into my locked patio gate and ripped them all down.

So I stopped putting them up.

It seems that I lived near the Grinch.

Growing up in the 60s and 70s, you didn't see very many of the homes who went all out with the lights. Most houses had a simple string of the multi-colored big bulbs around the roofline or windows. Now people seem to think that unless your house looks like Al Copeland's then it's not worth the effort. It makes me sad. I miss those big old-time lights.

I know I'm asking a lot but I think it would be fun to hold a function with OT posters at my home with those that won't steal my silverware or start trying to check knuckles. I have a guest home so some could stay but I can't have y'all baws tusslin in my yard over who's truck nuts are bigger
