1 cup in the morning before I workout. Then I'll mix in a scoop of protein and recovery powder with a cup of coffee and some ice in a blender bottle after I workout.

That sounds like something I would make a pledge drink.

Usually 1 cup during the summer and around a pot a day when it cools off. The caffeine seems to not have much effect on me.

amphetamines. same thing
Caffeine is absorbed almost completely into the bloodstream 45 minutes after ingestion
Caffeine looks like Adenosine to nerve cells and binds to the same receptors. Adenosine is normally used by the body to promote sleep and it also tells the body to dilate the blood vessels in the brain to help circulate oxygen while you sleep.
Caffeine binds to the same receptors, but generally has the opposite effect. It prevents adenosine from dilating the blood vessels and it actually makes them constrict, which is why it helps with some head aches. With adenosine being blocked, the pituitary gland reacts into emergency mode releasing hormones to tell the adrenal glands to release with adrenaline (epinephrine). Epinephrine is the "fight or flight" hormone which causes most of the jittery effects associated with caffeine use. It elevates blood pressure, constricts blood vessels and supresses the immune system.
Caffeine may cause the body to release more Dopamine, though this is in some dispute.
Caffeine is broken down quickly by the body and it's effect is short-lived. People can also acquire a tolerance for it as the body gets used to it's effects.
Now Amphetamine..
Amphetamines resemble dopamine. They work by forcing dopamine out of the storage vesicles and blocking it from being absorbed, flooding your system with dopamine. Dopamine is a reward hormone that is triggered when you experience pleasure. This hormone is highly related to addition.
Some amphetamines also cause you to produce more seratonin and norepinephrine. Seratonin improves your mood and can help you feel less hungry. Norepinephrine is similar to epinephrine. In addition to increasing your heart rate (like epinephrine), it also causes glucose release into the blood stream and increases blood flow to your muscles.

It's fricking good. Vanilla protein, chocolate recovery mixed with coffee and ice. Trust me it's really good.

I can drink an entire pot and still be tired. I think I've developed an immunity over the years

Keirigs are great. But does anyone know where I can get green tea for the Keurig other than Amazon?

Anywhere between none and 2 pots. Depends what kind of sleep I got, when I wake up, and what I'm doing.
