Haha yeah I'm not even going to respond to his last post. Anyone who would prefer Coach O over Herman should work in the circus if they aren't already.

As long as LSU keeps bringing in talent we'll be OK long term.

If O can't get us competing for a SEC Championship, he'll be gone soon. For however long he's here I think he'll keep the team stocked regardless, so I'm not as worried as I used to be. When we start falling in recruit rankings (especially LA croots) it's time to start worrying.

With that being said, this was still the wrong decision and this entire process was piss poor in execution. Alleva should be out for this and how bad he's made us look this year PR wise.

Nope, but I can tell you how he finished 4-3 on the season and 6th in the American Conference with a gleam in my eye. How he lost 38-16 to SMU while being a 23 point favorite. Lost to Navy while being a 16 point favorite, while being ranked #6 in the country.

That's some scary shite right there !!!

Exactly what in CEO's seven games as LSU head coach made you come up with the brilliant and bullshite fact that "it's going to happen, the only question is how soon?"

the Florida game

plus his entire strategy is batshit fricking insane

what happens if Kiffin goes to Houston? that was the centerpiece of O's entire strategy/pitch

That's one way to spin it, here's another, against the two best teams he coached against this year we scored 10 points AT HOME. Also lost at home to a 14 point underdog with a Sugar Bowl berth on the line.

His record didn't deserve an interview, beating 5 out of 6 teams you were favored to beat this year doesn't change that.

Graphs, boxscores and summaries. He scored 2 points against SMU in the 4th quarter. That was one hell of an offensive output against a 23 point dog in the final quarter.

Only on the days I read the self loathing, pessimistic, week and cowardly posts perpetuated on this forum. Its a quagmire of waste, at times.

How about losing to a 14 point favorite at home. Look at the talent on this team and we scored 10 points against the two best teams on our schedule.

Also, looking beyond the last 3 months, Oregeron was a dumpster fire at Ole Miss. Then even if we get Kiffin, let's look at what a Kiffin and O have done together in the past, dumpster fire at Tennessee and USC. So the real question is what gives you confidence that this episode will be any different?

Some of us are intelligent enough to look past the emotional response to a new coach mid season and actually evaluate the teams we played (especially in light of the upperclassmen talent on the team this year) and O's (and Kiffin) track record.

the Florida game

The Florida game? The game when CEO had a TE's coach running the offense? The game where LSU had 23 first downs UF's 14. The game where LSU offense gained 423 yards to UF's 270? The game where LSU had the ball for 34 minutes to UF's 26? The game where UF's only TD was a 98 yard pass on LSU's defense?

This is the game that brought about the "it's going to happen, the only question is how soon?" comment?

People would be jumping off ledges if they watched any of the Houston Cougar losses this past season and LSU had hired their coach.

So if someone is intelligent enough to look at someone's prior history and voice a concern that the person may repeat their own history, they are scared? You must be an intellectual giant with that type of reasoning.

Would be fine with me. If LSU is willing to pay $1.5 to $2 for an OC I think LSU will be fine if Kiff goes elsewhere. Hell they set multiple ALL-TIME LSU offensive records with a TE's coach running and game-planning the offense.
