Headlight Recomendation

I have the Princeton Tec Apex Pro

it eats batteries but its brightern shite

I just bought a black diamond 320 lumen from sportsmans wherehouse in Slidell. Things bad arse. Feel like I have a q beam on my head. Fwiw I checked before I bought it and it was the same price Amazon prime.

Its a copy of Zebralight's h600 which is a 100+ light sans charger and battery. I have both and prefer this one. I never go anywhere without it. FYI, two choices are "cool white" and "neutral white". Cool will be a little brighter but will have a bluish tint. Neutral will be a little less bright but with more daylight like color. I have the cool and would buy it again.

Kelly's K-light Beakon.

It's what I coon hunt with. Plenty bright enough to drive a boat with and the battery easily lasts a full nights hunt. I bought it to coon hunt and use the damned thing for EVERYTHING. You never realize how much you'll use a bad arse head light till you have one. Frogging, driving the boat, working on the truck, putting out decoys, power outsges, the list goes on.

A few other good coon light brands that can double as Q beams: Nite lite, boss light, Cajun light, and many others. Get a cap light with the battery on the cap.

$13 at Walmart and I haven't found one that beat it yet for it's price and application. 3 AAA batteries last for 5-6 hours and it's bright bright. My dad and I have a few each in our boats and trucks.

BUT, I'd say hot glue a sealed beam into an old hard hat. Can't beat it.
