The Saints are stuck with the current set up until Benson dies. Lower your expectations about a change.

Sean hasn't been right since his suspension IMO.

My only real complaint with Payton is his continued stubbornness when it comes to dumb challenges and wasting TOs. If he's not making the challenge decisions on his own, he needs to change whoever's telling him to do it. Also, take a damn 5 yard penalty instead of wasting a TO. It's not like this offense can't get yards in bunches.

I don't disagree.

I miss Greg William's defense and aggression. That defense gave up yards, but it created turnovers and put pressure on the quarterback.

If we had 3G as our DC this game we lose by 30.

why would you want this team in the playoffs?? Just to screw over the NFL system?

maybe the saints could run more and eat some clock up if 1) we were ever playing with the lead and 2) we aren't always down 10-14 pts

I don't get it... didn't we have our highest rushing totals of the season even though we were chasing from behind the entire game?

Yep. We stuck with the run and fumbled the game away.

I thought our offensive game plan was pretty damn solid. Same with the Oakland, Atlanta, and Carolina game. We turned the ball over and had some pressure issues in the 1st half due to oline injuries.

One thing I have to give the coaching staff credit for is our absolute dominance on opening offensive drives.

I somewhat agree. I think Greg would probably still be here and the defense wouldn't have fallen off so badly.
