Do you have kids?

I have kids, and I'll continue to vaccinate. All any of these studies show is that there is a very minuscule chance that some vaccines may have a link to autism. So what, so you are going to risk a high chance of a kid getting sick from something else for a very low chance of Autism? Life isn't perfect.

I read this study that showed that vaccines had a strong link to my kid not dying from old arse diseases.

I understand and I kind of go back and forth on it.
Where I have trouble is that almost any disease that there is a vaccine for is treatable now without any lasting issues.
Vaccine issues can be life altering, and I'm not even talking about autism, but far worse things that two families I know have, and will forever be, affected by.
Whatever side you fall on, I would think you would have to admit this article is pretty disturbing.

This is completely untrue. There's a family in town with a quad-amputee son who got polio as a child. You gonna tell me losing 4 limbs isn't a 'lasting' issue?

There's a family in my church whose daughter is virtually a vegetable from a bad reaction to a vaccine.

Who confirmed it was from the vaccine?

I had a horse drop dead minutes after I vaccinated it. I'm not going sacrifice the immunity of the herd just because of an extremely rare reaction.

The data showing enough causation that it could not be completely ignored were destroyed by the orders of higher ups at the CDC.
Why were they destroyed? Your first thoughts are conspiracy?
Hanging on to this idea is not smart. You sounds like a 9/11 can't melt steel beams person.

They stated there was no link, yet recommended spacing the vaccines out a little further "just because". It wasn't hard to see back then they were hiding something.

I think it's pretty obvious and if it weren't it's pretty clearly spelled out in the article.

Yours isn't?

First, it's an opinion piece.

My first thought is that I don't know if/why they were destroyed or even if they even existed.
If they existed there could be multiple reasons they were destroyed. Such as tainted evidence or misleading evidence that couldn't be replicated.
It seems the CDC could have been more careful than the doctor that started all of this shite with really bad info. You know, the one who said there is no way to replicate his original results.

Can't have an anti-vaccine thread without a post hoc fallacy.
Posted on 10/20/16 at 1:48 pm to RandySavage
I want this to be true just so that all the mandatory vaccinator chode chuggers' heads will explode.
And I am totally neutral on the topic. Just find that crowd exponentially worse than the anti-vax crowd.
