Dumbass. Not even close to what I said. Your reading comprehension level is about as good as the Saint's defense.
Let me spell it out for you, since you're too slow to figure this out.
The majority of the NFL is built on the QB. It doesn't matter how good the QB is, they are going to throw the football, and more than they run. Cam Newton threw it 40+ times today. CODY FREAKIN KESSLER threw it 40+ times today.
Are they as GREAT as Brees? No.
But you dumbasses somehow think that because New Orleans slings it around more than anyone else, that means Brees is the Greatest.

Brees and Brady are the two best QBs in the game today. Both will be on the Mt. Rushmore of QBs when they hang it up.

Rodgers is a great QB, but he's playing pretty bad this year. Brees looks good. I wish the saints would run the ball a bit more. Brees took some big shots yesterday. Payton seems to be allergic to running the ball, like the anti-les miles

Give him any of those defenses
Brees has been near perfect in the playoffs.
Drew has had 14 games where he's taken the lead in the 4th quarter, only to have the Saints D blow it. I want to say the next guy on the list is Dan Marino with 7.

New Oreans
21st in PPG (Top 10 2 times, 11-20 3 times, 21-32 6 times)

Pittsburgh:
8th in PPG (Top 10 5 times, 11-20 6 times, 21-32 0 times)

It will be interesting to see what Payton is able to accomplish post-Brees. With Jimmy G's brief brilliance this year along with Cassell during the injury year, I heard quite a few national guys claiming recently that there might be something to the Patriots 'system' being part of the reason that Brady has been so good.
I also have a feeling that Payton will not be able to duplicate long term success again (whether with the Saints or elsewhere).
It should also be mentioned that many of the good stats years for the Saints were on playoff teams with average to slightly below average defenses. It's not like he's just now putting up huge stats on bad teams.

Rodgers is now tied for last in the NFL in adjusted completion percentage on deep balls, at 27.3 percent.
Brady, Brees, Big Ben, Ryan and a couple others are all better than him as of recently. And the thing is his OL and Lacy are playing well but he's not.
