I bet we get screwed if we win out. Either way, we dont go to the SECCG without playing florida, I just dont see it uner any scenerio

They've already said 7-1 makes it over 6-1, so good intuition.

I find it highly unlikely LSU wins out. The bigger issue is LSU would have most likely defeated Florida in their game. Florida is most likely going to win the rest of their SEC games. Tennessee will lose to Alabama. Florida will get into the SECCG with their bull shite dodge of LSU.

I think even if all the scenerios play out and LSU is the only team with 1 SEC loss, they still screw us over. Im just saying, I have a sneaking suspicion they are gonna screw us for not cooperating in reschedule

right now odds are this is a UT problem

We aren't going to play Florida and we aren't going to run the table

I'd bet every penny I owe and even my children's lives that the SEC won't allow a team to go to Atlanta if they haven't played all their conference games.
It's just not going to happen - that would be catastrophic for Sankey - an order of magnitude worse that mandating a game on Nov. 19 and having to payoff USA and Presbyterian.

7-1 = higher winning percentage, so that trumps in the tie-breaker.

And the bylaws state that all teams shall play 8 games. So which is it? How is it interpreted? Clarification is needed I believe.

Beat the shite out of everybody and run up the score as much as possible. If no SEC championship then so be it. It will still be a fun year and the SEC will know who the best team was.

I think I saw it tweeted that it's already in the "rules". Will see if I can find it.

It's in the rules. So yeah, technically the SEC has said this.

Not to be too nit picky but don't tiebreaker rules only apply when there is a tie? In the case of uneven win percentage there is not a tie.

Per SEC rules, if teams don’t play the same number of games, the team with the higher win percentage goes to the championship game. If the Florida game isn’t played, LSU could win out, finish 6-1 with a win over Alabama and lose out to Alabama for the SEC West title if it goes 7-1 in its SEC games (with a win over Auburn which already has an SEC loss but holds the tiebreaker on LSU).
