You really don't think that no matter how justified Allevia's standing firm is, it will play very very poorly for national PR if he plays the heavy?

Hell, we have already seen the rumblings from national outlets along these lines before our even doing anything.

Only mainstream guy I saw taking our case was Gary. (And no, pointing out UF's BS on Twitter doesn't get you mainstream penetration)

We all know who wanted nothing to do with playing this weekend and it wasn't LSU.

Actually Fla. was given every option by LSU. Fla. did not want to play the game Sat., Sun. or Monday. They didn't want to play and for you to suggest they ducked Fla. when it was the other way around it stupidly ridiculous. If the stoneless commissioner had done his job the game could have been played Sat. at FSU's stadium or Sat. at 6PMEST. but he didn't have the guts to make it happen.

No fan worth his salt gives two shits about national PR. We all know what happened, national media know what happened- and foley isn't denying Alleva's presser yesterday when he explicitly spelled out that every opportunity was afforded to florida to reschedule the game.

It would be fine except this asshat is getting tons of play here in Florida. Gator fans have now accepted this revisonist account of what actually happened. Just like the media has said recently about the presidential election actions don't matter only words matter.

Neil Shulman should be Trumps campaign manager. he doesn't know what the truth is and is merely spreading misinformation so some of the uninformed will start believing it.

To bad he is already doing a wonderful job as Hiltarys campaign manager.

The short of it is, LSU was given a very realistic option by Florida to consider in terms of rescheduling the game that Hurricane Matthew postponed- and turned it down.

Not clicking the link, does he ever address what the realistic option for playing the game is?

Certainly his idea of realistic isn't to have LSU cancel a home game, paying $1.5 million to void the contract, and give up the at least $5 million in revenue. Not to mention the lost economic impact to the city of Baton Rouge.

These articles weren't coming out last week when everyone was giving florida shite for being scared. Now that LSU has to be the one to agree to Florida's terms we are the ones that are ducking. Great journalism.
