Florida Gators = scared little bitches...

They would rather cancel the game than play elsewhere?? We'd play them anywhere and beat that azz. Can't believe they didn't plan on moving the game.. I have lost all respect for the football program and coach butter teeth.. Hope they lose every fkin game.. UF are now my most hated sec rival. Bunch of pansies!!

Wow, whoever made the decision that results in student athletes flying into the cone of uncertainty for a cat 4 hurricane seriously needs to be fired.

Amazing

It's not their students so they don't care.

I really don't care if the game is in TS or not. My main concern is safety of players, coaches, staff, fans, etc. play the game in Michigan for all I care. But it definitely shouldn't be played at UF on Saturday. This is very very irresponsible and asinine.

The fact that they are adamant about having the game there when they have no idea how bad it's going to be is pathetic. It risks drawing law enforcement and other resources in the state away from where there will no doubt be a need. Of course they are putting money before everything else.

They need to get this game at least 300 miles away from the right coast.

Well in 2011 the SEC campaigned its' arse off to get Bama in the NC game vs. LSU instead of trying to promote LSU as the conference champion. All they wanted was Bama in that game.
If you think for a minute that the SEC would have promoted LSU like that had LSU lost at home to Bama, not won their division in the SEC, and not won the SEC then you are simply naive.

That didn't answer my question, why?

Why does the SEC favor Bama, Florida and whoever else over LSU?

That map's win estimate is probably quite low. Starting to look like a 140-150 mph storm on that path is likely.

Gonna be a rough arse flight in for these kids. I feel bad for them being put through this when it could easily have been moved elsewhere.

I agree. Maybe the SEC can send its officials there first and make the decision, which we all know how that will come out.

I get the idea if it were Bama this would be resolved already. But Bama doesn't play Florida often.

And now they plan to fly into Tampa and then bus over to Gville. Has anyone seen the shots of traffic from evacuating Floridians being shown on the network news? This entire deal has clusterfrick written all over it.

This is the exact opposite way how to handle this situation

Florida fricked this up bad. But it makes me think they want a rescheduled game instead of moving it. LSU having players and personnel travel TO Florida coast right now is straight up bull shite. God forbid anything happen to them.

That's what I thought too.

I don't see how the SEC offices have not stepped in before now.

South Carolina's governor made a statement as of yesterday, telling school officials that they will not have resources available for hosting their game. Has anyone heard if they are moving the SC/UGA game?
