I believe so. Hopefully, the rules don't allow this to happen. Florida still has visions of Atlanta.

Greg Sankey-- SEC commissioner, says FL will decide tomorrow if game played at UF--on Finebaum now.

If the storm keeps tracking west, the game won't be played.

I hope they have a contingency plan to still play the game. Coming out today and saying that the game will not be moved from Gainesville was stupid as frick.

Joe Alleva and the rest of the decision makers at LSU should be fired on the spot if they agree to fly the team into a territory that is being threatened by a Category 3 or 4 hurricane. That would be reckless and endanger everyone

FLorida is gaming the storm to reset the game for November.
They have a lot of injuries this week and appear to be biding time against the hope of better team health in a few weeks..
The way they've handled this is inexcusable and the SEC should hold them accountable.

Another thought, if the field is really wet, it slows down the LSU rushing game.

Also, our defensive rush is slowed down.

I think there is definitely something crooked going on in Jeremy Folley's mind. There is a big angle in Florida's favor hidden inside this delaying tactic.

I am getting old and not real certain about this, but didn't Tenn. and Fulmer refuse to fly into BR for a game because of Rita?

I recall that being out of respect for people taking all the hotel rooms. They ended up flying in same day and playing.

Spot on my man!
Unlike SEC Commissioner, aka Hillary, stated all the obvious reasons for this, then with his little crinkly mouth said...we just waiting for tomorrow to make a final determination. One of the cheapest PC speeches I've seen in athletics.

We have got some either really stupid people in power positions this day and time or they have ulterior motives. I just can't ever nail it down with 100% certainty, but this...

Maybe small children, but I am pretty sure every Floridian who didn't just move in has seen a hurricane.

The November date is before their game against FSU. They want this canceled or played on Monday in Gainesville.

UF wants the game cancelled...their hoping TN stumbles...if this happens UF could finish with one less loss...the less loss being the cancelled LSU game...this all a big ruse...this game is not being played Saturday...most likely November

If something happens to LSU the SEC will be bankrupt they better step in!! You know how many lawsuits will transpire?? Holy smokes not to mention how terrible they would look with Florida. If something were to happen to anyone going to and from there that had to do with this storm. It could get ugly with the media if something bad were to happen.

Agreed. What if the storm wobbles a little west before it makes landfall after the team has already landed? Just can't take that chance.

Truly do not understand their motives? Do they WANT a canceled game?

Actually Florida does because as stated earlier it helps them stay in the race in the east. It takes a huge risk off their schedule and it's very probable Tenn could have 2 losses from 2 sec west teams in A&M and Bama.
