Both of these pictures were taken 3 minutes before kickoff as the team's were running out onto the field.

The student section stayed packed throughout the entire rain delay. I was amazed and impressed. Also proud after a few years of lack luster showing except for a few big games.

So the kids that live on campus actually go the games and some people who travel over four hours and spend about $1500 per weekend might stay home when the product is uninspiring. Seems relevant.

I can't remember what game it was, but it was around 10 years ago I guess, and the sky flat out opened up for 30 minutes straight and we all stayed. IIRC, we got louder the harder the rain got

Was it Oregon State in 04? There was torrential rain before that game.

Remember that time when the game was delayed after only five minutes of play, and most of the fans that stayed the entire time was from the student section? I believe that was last year right?

Show the section on the other side of the band. It was empty. They pack the corners and leave the rest just scattered.

If that was when it got delayed like an hour and a half, probably so. Glad I brought a whole 5th that game

Also, get back to me when the students quit sitting down during game play. We would only sit during timeouts.
