I've been riding 11 months with no inspection sticker. I've cracked the code.

My company car was delivered to an Arknsas dealership for some reason and as much as I dislike Arkansas, they are not money grubbing like Louisiana and have no sticker money grab.

My car has La plates and is registered in La.

if nothing is there, they just assume you are in a vehicle that doesn't require one.

It's been fun.

You haven't cracked anything.

If you have Louisiana plates, you have to have an inspection sticker.

So yeah.

An inspection sticker is less than $20. Are you that poor?

Take off the plate and just write "tag applied for" on cardboard and crack the code like a true wind talker

That ain't shite, I've been riding without one for 3yrs. Never got a new one after I had my windshield replaced.

It's now just game of how long I can go without getting a ticket.

I went years without getting a new inspection sticker then got 2 tickets in 2 days. It's all about avoiding being caught or being around cops that don't care (NOPD). My two tickets were in NORCO and on the causeway

Do you know what's awesome? Living in a state that doesn't require an inspection to operate a car.

I fixed it for you:

I rode for 11 months with no inspection sticker and finally got an expensive ticket because I thought I beat the system but realized the system is designed for people exactly like me.

Did that with expired license once. I have no patience for North Carolina slow arse DMV offices.

I bought my car in 2013. I have never gotten an inspection sticker. I forgot at first. Now I just want to see how long I can go. This will probably jinx me.

Negative.

Wife got stopped for no inspection sticker. Cop said I hope you have an out of state plate. Thankfully, car had not yet been registered in Louisiana.

Don't know if it's true or not, but a service guy at my dealership said you're better off with no sticker than an expired sticker. However, most officers can just dial up your plate and see if you're registered locally.

Friend of mine hasn't gotten one since 2012. It's a good run.

I got a ticket for my NOLA brake tag being 4 years expired in Denham way back in the day. I just told the DA/assistant that I got it changed before court. Of course they didn't verify so I didn't pay a thing or get an inspection.
