Anybody own an unpopular cartridge?

Or perhaps a better way to put it is does anyone own an underrated cartridge such as: 38 super, 327 mag, 41 mag, 8 mm or 325 WSM? Did you intentionally buy the caliber or was it just handed down to you?
The 41 mag and 325 WSM interest me, for no other reason, but just to have something different. It is hard to believe some of these cartridges did not catch on better.

I've always been interested in the .250 and .300 Savage rounds just to have something different.

I have a 300 Rem SAUM. Not the most uncommon but not too common either.

The .41 mag is a damn good cartridge, tons of power and not nearly a wrist breaker like the .44 mag. Another one I love is the 6mm, the .243 won out of that match, but if you reload, it has more room for powder in the 6mm casing and is super accurate.

I got an 8mm Turkish Mauser in high school. Cleaned it up and got it shooting again, and shot a doe with it. Pretty cool. May have to do it again this season

I've got a 300 SAUM also. 41 mag, 6 mm Remington, 22WRF. I relload all of the center fires. CCI still makes the WRF. All are great cartridges.

Want. Almost bought instead of 270 wsm. Couldn't find a Tikka in 264 though.

The .38 super is prized in competitive shooting arenas. You can shoot major while having the recoil and faster followup of minor such as 9 mm. Very effective if one is looking at the shooting sports.

There are small, but passionate user communities for .41 mag and 38 Super. Although it was ultimately replaced by the .357 magnum and 9mm for police and self defense, and it never had a great reputation for reliability, the .38 super remains popular with some competitive handgun circles due to the accuracy of the cartridge (and "race gun" qualities).
.41 Magnum is still popular with some handgun hunters who favor the balance between the .357 and .44 magnums, plus the flatter trajectory of the bullet compared to other big bore hunting rounds.

I have a Weatherby.257 too. Ammo is expensive and harder to find. However, it's a great rifle. My father in law has one too and he loads his own ammo. Guess I'll have to learn how to do it too.

I'm interested in the Armscor .22. I think it's the TCM?
