I think America still has an obsession with death. Like an addiction, or an addict, the need is satisfied in other ways.

If you watch the news or a film, video game, etc. there is generally a focus on murder. The obsession can evolve or..metamorphosis as it did before. Maybe it's just primal human nature.

Whatever people might think the Death Penalty isn't a deterrent to murder. It's also a political tool for District Attorneys to use during election years to make people think they are tough on crime. For every person on Death Row at Angola there are 25 guys in population that did just as bad or worse shite that the guys on DR.

I have seen more than enough unnatural deaths and there is no way I am going out of my way to see another. The thought of a big crowd cheering someone being methodically killed is creepy as hell.

I've never seen any unnatural death in person, and I find the idea creepy.

Iraq middle of the town soccer field. Guy was a murderer at least that's what the interpreter said we pulled gaurd for it helping the police control the situation.

Considering a good number are lethal injection, there's a high chance it will be very boring.
