The Colts will win the South

The Jags are too trendy of a pick right now...

If Luck can manage to not turn the ball over 20+ times this season the Colts might have a chance.

It's a tough one but I'd pick the Texans to repeat. Brock is a decent QB and in an offense that utilizes his arm strength vs the dink and dunk he did in Denver, he should have a Mathew Stafford type year. Lots of yards but not much substance, but with their defense, I think that's good enough to go 5-1 in the division and win 10 games.

Colts are a tota wildcard as are the Jags. Both teams had WTF season's last year. The Jags actually looked like a good team late in the season meanwhile the Colts were just terrible. Both probably finish 8-8, maybe one finishes 9-7.

The Titans though not as good as the Steve McNair Titans are not as bad as previous years. They'll be competitive with the bubble playoff teams and win a few games against even competition. Is 6-10 possible? Idk I think it is.

the Jags picking up Ivory was a slick move.. maybe the idea being not to put as much pressure on Bortles?

the Jags improved their talent level on defense so maybe they won't find themselves playing from behind as much but a lot of that talent they added is still real young/inexperienced.

a year or two more and I think they'll be a tough team to beat if the offense players (mainly Bortles) doesn't totally implode.

Casey and if Orakpo can return to form, can be a very good duo. Then you have Avery Williamson who is coming along as a young LB. Then you have okay guys like Derrick Morgan and Woodyard.

The secondary has to be bottom tier in the NFL though. Idk what they ranked last year (I know it wasn't good) but looking at their depth chart...woof

it was sorta tongue in cheek comment

If Orakpo returns to form though he's one of the better edge rushers.

Yeah can't put the carriage before the horse w that D. Sure they have talent but not a lot of experience. They will not be good right off the bat. A guy like Luck or Mariota will light them up this season.

It's the Texans division to lose. They have they best defense and running game which should push them to win the division.

Comes down to which of these units end up producing and which ones don't

Colts-OL
Texans-QB
Jags-defense
Titans-WR and defense

That's exactly the idea. If Bortles puts up the same numbers as he did last year, then that's probably a bad sign for our record. So, I fully expect him to progress, however I think his numbers will take a hit because we're going to have a balanced offense and hopefully not playing from behind most of the time.

Jaguars are the most talented team in that division top to bottom IMO. should be they've sucked so long

So Im going Jags and Titans as a sleeper. OL is the main issue there IMO.

Colts I see being a dumpster fire and Texans I cannot buy because they seemingly shite the bed whenever they get the chance.
