Yesterday a large group of us went tiki tubing (such a shite hole, but that's another story), and when we were leaving our bus driver, a buddy and I watched a man back up his SUV, and proceed to be obnoxiously wasted to the point where he fell countless times, couldn't close the driver side door or load the ice chest up. Then a woman and 6 kids walk up and get in the vehicle. So two adults and 6 children where the oldest was probably 13ish and the youngest was probably 3ish, not to mention one of the children wouldn't have had a seatbelt because the 2nd row seating was bucket seats.

It was pretty tough to watch and pretty astonishing to think he may have been doing this with someone else's kids with him if not all 6 were his.

For the adults: natural selection

For the children: step in and stop it

Made contact to determine if he was in fact wasted. If the woman was also not capable of driving, I would stall them while a buddy called the police.

You did the equivalent of watching the kids drown if you didn't call police.

WTF is wrong with you? Serious question.

It is not your job to be the hall monitor for every stranger in the world.

Go about your life and live it. Not your responsibility.

Call the cops even if there were no kids involved. That piece of shite could end up killing another family.
