Friend had a heart attack - doctor says its from testosterone shots

My friend (33 years old) had a heart attack this morning. He is ok now. The doctors are saying its from his testosterone shots which his primary care physician recommended he start taking 6 months ago. Do doctors even have a clue anymore? Does anyone else take these shots because of low testosterone? Just putting the word out.

I've had a suspicion for a while that low T meds are mostly a moneymaking scheme.

Yeah... I know a lot a few people who took Axiron and were involved in some class action lawsuit due to heart attacks and other CV risks.

They can raise blood pressure but they should have monitored that

There's a class action lawsuit dealing with test booster shite. Your boy is about to get paid $3.50 from settlement funds.

I see NPs running these anti aging clinics now. This stuff seems insane. Advertising on every other radio commercial.

It's crazy how somebody would take the shots m... seriously just do some leg presses stop masturbating for a month and take zinc every once in a while. Your t will be fine within 2 weeks.

Meh, he doesn't know what his heart attack was specifically from. unless it was coke, or a crazy family history + a smoker + a diabetic.
LINK Two studies show contradicting results, one actually with less cardiovascular risk. Neither study had an increase in heart attack for men under 65, without heart disease.
The test. is the easiest connection.
Who's his cardiologist?

Have a 32 yo friend had a stroke while on some low T meds of some sort.
I think he has somewhat recovered but it's been awhile. He ended up losing a good job because he got so far behind.

I just started taking chewable multivitamins and my poop is bright blue.
Nowhere near as bad as a heart attack but I figured I would share.

Raises blood pressure and cholesterol, thus your risk of heart attack. Not a substantial risk if you lack other traditional risk factors.. But if you have a family history of coronary artery disease you might not oughta dismiss said risks in favor of aging unnaturally.
Your friend signed the waivers.

I can't say it contributed to my heart attack,but at 900mg a week I can't say it didn't.

WTF is a 33 year old doing on T? He's not too far off his peak natural production.

Primary care physician should have had him donating blood once every couple months to keep the blood from getting too thick and to keep the iron count down. These are well known side effects. Any Dr that doesn't warn of this is probably not the best person for you to see.

My doc said it would take 20 years off your life. I'll quote him. "There is no fountain of youth."
