MJ: 3 titles, 3 MVPs, 3 Finals MVPs

Bron: 3 titles, 4 MVPs, 3 Finals MVPs

Just a simple thought, let us discuss it.

I think LeBron has played 567 games in the last 6 years. I don't know how much longer he can play the way he does at the level he does, but I don't see him being as effective as Jordan was past 31.

Lebron is an old 31. He's played an incredible number of games between regular season, playoffs, and international. He's played nearly as many games already as Jordan did in his entire career.

What's the math on number of seasons in the NBA each of them played by age 31?

Not really an apples to apples comparison, but it's still MJ easily for me. And I love Lebron.

LeBron has already played more minutes than MJ by a wide margin. I doubt he'll continue at this level for much longer; even in this series he was limited in effectiveness until his jumper decided to show up.

Having said that it's amazing how quickly the narrative can turn. Just a couple weeks ago the book had been written on LeBron's career.

Pretty crazy to think MJ won his last title at 35 and was the finals MVP. I think with how LeBron prepares for the playoffs during the regular season, he can get atleast two more.

MJ and the Bulls Three-Peated twice. Get there and Lebron can sniff MJ's nut stank.

I consider his Final's record 3-3, not 3-4.

The loss Lebron had in last year's finals should be obsolete, IMO. You can't pin that loss on him.

I think he wins 2 more before he's done--3 at the most.

But to surpass Mike, he needs to get to at least 7 wins. I don't think it matters how many more times he loses at that point.

I love the MSB.

Two months ago the Dubs >>>>>>>>>>>>>> 96 Bulls

A month ago Curry >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bron

Today Bron >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MJ

Most of the NBA posters on this board are missing a chromosome.

I don't care what anyone says numbers-wise, no other player in history has been a legitimate shot blocker, legitimate stealer, legitimate threat from beyond the arc, legitimate post player, legitimate point guard, legitimate lane driver, and legitimate leader, all together, better than LeBron. There are a handful in the discussion for even being able to claim they are all of those things. Lebron is one of the best in history or in the current NBA in each of those things. He is better than Jordan, better than Magic, better Bird, as an overall player just in what he can do on the court. Add to that the fact that he has carried the Cavs in the past on his back to the Finals against one of the great dynasties under one of the great coaches in history (Pop's Spurs), and he led the Heat with a broken down Wade and role-playing Bosh, his performances in the Playoffs, regular season and career prove definitively that he is the best player in history. Period. End of story. And this last championship solidifies it.

MJ is STILL the best ever...But Bron has risen on my list after this performance.... He showed a killer instinct that I never thought he had... I say he plays maybe three more years and retires... He may not win another title though.... The only thing I have against him is his flopping issues... Other than that he is def in my top 10 all-time....
