Do like i did.. Buy a Saiga 12 gauge with a 20 round drum mag from a random mechanic in Louisiana with absolutely no paper trail..

Then take it out on a boat, have a boating accident, lose the gun.

But then don't come and post about it on a public forum, because then the evidence of your plan will be easily found.

If Elizabeth Warren gets her way they will come and take them, but that isn't likely to happen yet. If you get one, stock up on ammo. I think it is more likely that they tax ammo to the point of being ridiculous expensive before they show up to take it away. It's how the government handles things they don't like, see cigarettes.

this.... they will over tax or ban actual ammo - ammo is not protected under 2nd amendment

The Gov didnt do so back in Clinton days. Not taking anything away from current owners. Never will. But they will make buying new things harder, very expensive, and damn near impossible. Taxing firearms and ammo, making paper work on handing down firearms, etc. Over time no one will have the stock pile they once had.

Please explain why you think this is a true statement. One that's been debunked on this board more than a few times recently.

Because confiscation would be a bloodbath the likes of which this country has not seen since the 1860's.

I think 7 is a fine age to start shooting, but the thought of your daughter telling her first grade classmates how santa's elves built her a real gun is just funny to me.
