I read a synopsis of the film and I'll say one thing: They do not stray far at all from the source material, even explaining a part that was left ambiguous in the games.

Personally would love a starcraft movie, the plot would lend itself to a movie very well. The movie would basically be like starship troopers with a different plot. Angelina Jolie would seem the perfect fit to play Kerrigan
