The lower (than normal) proof is noticeable, but in a good way...I’ll do a 17-18 comparison soon

I’m hearing GTS and Handy were the best of this year’s BTAC picks, but we’ll see

If you feel like messing with the secondary market groups and shipping, you could probably get $400-425 less the cost of the shipping. Possibly could find a Dallas local on there. Put it up for $300 and you'd sell it before your finger came off the enter button.

This is not something I have done before and all I see are places requiring Alcohol permits .. any suggestions of places you like ?

I pretty much swore off Dorignacs a few years ago when they started pricing anything even remotely allocated just a smidge under secondary. What are they asking for the OWA pick?

I think around $79. They have cases of it out right now. Earlier this week they also had PVW23 in the case for $5k. They are nuts.

Request an invite to "Bourbon Secondary Market - BSM" on Facebook.

Just send it to me for $200. You get your original $200 back in an easy transaction. The guys debt is paid. I get bottle at half of secondary. Win-Win for everyone.

The bubble wont burst, but there might be a marlet correction. As long as the U.S. economy is strong, I dont see a correction occring. People have expendable income.

What’s up TA. I agree that this might just be the new normal, however hopefully in a few years supply gets a little closer to catching up to demand and that will help out.

You have to enjoy finding a Weller 12 for $31 on the shelf. What sucks is I have to work tonight and tomorrow night, so I cannot crack it for a while.

I Louisiana its actually illegal to ship...period. Only thing that can be shipped is wine into the state that is not distributed within the state.

Pro tip...NEVER use the post office UPSP, its a felony period.

IMO it will take the demand dropping a shite ton before anything even remotely changes. Right now the thirst for the brown is strong!

The distilleries were low on supplies because it takes so long to make it right and way back when the thirst was not strong.

Now the distilleries are building new warehouses and producing more to tap that thirst. They wont go back to old 10+ aged bourbon for a reasonable price for a long time. It will be young (fast to market and $) and super special (revive an old story) and slap a few words like limited edition and sell it for mad profits.
