This is just shitty luck, there's no way that cop could have known he was being recorded. Look at the camera angle, this stalker must have been sitting on a rooftop. This was unavoidable, just another example of a good cop being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Video doesn't show much. Earth day is riddled with animal behavior. There's no telling what this kid was doing. I'm not taking his mom's word.
He's resisting handcuffs in the quick clip. Looks like a cop trying to get shite done to me.

Meh..Don't give a shite.. So what if some kid got his dumbass kicked while being in an area where dumbassery is taking place.

Looked like he was resisting to me. Should have shot him.

One of my favorite quotes that has more focus on modern day protest than most..

They just trying to learn him - that's all.

Common misunderstanding. They were just helping him celebrate Earth Day by putting him closer to it.

It looks to me the kid had both hands behind his back and then gets his right hand out to protect himself from the punches from the cop.
I do not know what happened before that, but it looked like the cop did not have to punch the kid.
I have been grabbed by the police in the Quarter when a big fight broke out. I was not involved but I was grab by one cop and then another I had to do everything in my power to not seem like I was resisting bc I was being pulled all over the place by multiple cops. Only time that has happened to me and it was really scary.
Any other encounter with the police I have always been Yes Sir and No Sir and did everything they asked. I have never been hit by a cop.

frick those stupid kids.
I was at Earth day. About 2 O'clock we left because it got really dark and you could tell shite was about to go down. Why can't people just enjoy a good time and not act like fricking savages?

Sometimes I think it'd be lots of fun to be a cop.

What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? There are still unknowns about the case and everyone is so quick to pass judgement. While this isn't quite to scale, the same thing happened in Ferguson. The media skews a story and the public develops a mob mentality and takes it from there. Then the autopsy report is published and it turns out the officer was justified in his actions.
