Yeti Ramble Bottles...a new product to hate

From the people who brought you the $300 bucket comes their newest product, water bottles. $40 for the 18oz, $60 for the 36oz and $90 for the 64oz.
I'll hold off for the 80% less Walmart versions.

life's too short, and most outdoor products too flimsy, to worry about a few dollars here and there. the yeti shite works, bottom line
if the stuff they make didnt work, certainly ridicule/hate would be warranted. but it does work, and god bless them for it

Look! An insulated water bottle! The innovation and quality of YETI is unbelievable.

While I like some Yeti products, they're not doing anything new with the bottles that I can tell.
The Rambler was a good product because nobody had perfected that yet. Tervis sucks, and Kleen Kanteen's insulated pint wasn't as good as the Yeti Rambler.
But the bottle market is already occupied by a ton of good products. I can't see Yeti improving on Hydroflask, which appears to be cheaper anyway.

Honestly the bottles look like terrible designs. Vacuum insulation isn't some new technology. Lots of companies have been making really nice very rugged vacuum insulated bottles and cups and mugs for decades. A smart and informed consumer could find a better designed alternative from 1/2 to 1/3 the price. I have Nissan stainless and Zojirushi vac bottles that are a 15-20 years old that look like they have been through a couple of world wars and they hold heat or ice just as good as the day I bought them. Before Yeti most people would have said I spent a lot of money on those, but those top of the line options are still 1/2 the price of Yeti alternatives.

My coffee carafe (for my commercial Bunn coffee maker ) is Zojirushi - my grandchildren will be using that thing in the 22nd Century. Keeps coffee hot enough to drink for 10 to 12 hours.

Be able to keep your ice from melting while you brown your hamburger meat.

Just don't buy it.
Seems pretty simple.

I like yeti as much as the next guy and use their coolers regularly. This is absurd.

And HydroFlask has a much better lid design. That big handle on the Yeti is awful. My wife has a HF and a CorkCicle.
But does it come with a sticker?

The label is kinda funny. Cannot find pic.

If Yeti had to depend on me for success they would go bankrupt. But obviously a lot of people have more money than sense.

You pay for what you get.
Yeti is a much, much better insulated cup, therefore its gonna be expensive.

YETI vs OZARK Ice test
There are several videos that disprove this.
