Sooo, nothing about the terrible looking trailer? Just the people who don't like it?
Cool.
Cool.

It looks "nice," as in colorful and fluid, but it looks WAY out of place in the film.
So they should've gone with 1980's CGI? Use a puppet for Slimer?

This is why you can't have an honest discussion on the internet...

Did I say that exactly?
It looked like a box of Highlighters threw up on the screen.

Will never watch this trailer. I will look away if it plays in a theater. Will never watch this movie. I've never said that before.

1. So it's still about attacking people and not about the trailer? Got it.
2. Critiquing choices, talking about news and hopes and fears is part of a movie/tv discussion board. If we ONLY EVER talked about things we have seen in completion - We could only talk about completed tv shows, films, etc. That would be boring. Additionally, talking about bad choices does not making up your mind about something. There lots of "negative" talk around here, DC/MCU, Dark Tower, anything coming out with bad news, etc. This is normal. Are there some people that probably make up their minds beforehand? Sure. Can movies completely turn people off? Sure. I'm going to guess very few in this thread ever watched Spy. And that's ok too. Generalizing everyone isn't cool. Heck I was still willing to give the movie a chance (just like with something like Gods of Egypt), but the trailer was terrible.

of course if someone doesn't like something with women in it...it HAS to be because they are women?

I enjoy a lot of the recent female comedy movies. Spy, Bridesmaids, The Heat and Sisters were all good I thought. This looks terrible.

I feel violated after watching that.

damn I had moderate hopes for this movie
but that looked fricking terrible

This is exactly why they did this. They're basically saying "I dare you to dislike our awful, money grabbing reboot."

The PC police is going to go hard after the people who don't shower the new Ghostbusters with love.
As a open minded liberal/libertarian, I am definitely NOT fired up to see this. I'll most likely give it a Netflix watch. MAY see it in theatres but will not make it a priority if I do.

I think it looks alright. But I freely admit that I'm rooting for the movie because all of the haters. Matter of fact, there are some delicious hater tears in this thread.
I don't think there's any way the movie will be a massive flop -- the nostalgia factor will help and based on the people involved, I imagine it will be funny enough for the mainstream audiences. I figure it will do pretty OK.

Looks interesting besides the whole movie seeming like one giant SNL skit.
They're way too unserious. As I said before. Ghostbusters had it's funny moments, but it had its serious moments, and they were believable. Nothing about this seems believable. It's too obvious the feminine agenda. Way way too obvious.
