Yea I guess the time travel paradox at the end doesn't make a TON of sense (although you could see it coming that the "other beings" were people from the future).

The intensity of it grabbed me, and so did the grandness of it all. I mean you're sacrificing your relationships with your kids in order to possibly save the world, a small mistake costs you 20+ years and a chance at a return trip home which means death for EVERYONE on earth.
I thought it was well done, intense, exciting, terrifying, and had a satisfying conclusion

Loved it until the black hole part. Then it lost me. I think I'm a few IQ points lower than the intended audience.

And a great, fitting homage to 2001, arguably THE seminal film in science fiction - the one that paved the way for the rest (along with the success of Star Trek in syndication).

I loved it. The ending was a little tough but how else do you end a movie like that??

One of the best SciFi films I've seen in a long time.

I'll just post the docking scene because its one of my favorite scenes in any movie ever and I can watch it over and over

LINK

it loses its power watching on Youtube or at home, but in the theater, when the organs kicked in, holy god

I thought it was very good.

When I read up on everything I didn't understand, I decided it was great.

I loved it. Nolan certainly did his research with this one, because he got in deep with the space-time theories. Unfortunately that was his main flaw, because it takes more than the final 45 minutes to explain something so freaking complex.

Loved it. It felt original and captured so many great things about the classic science fiction genre.

Many on this board will trash it for various reasons.

Loved it. Watching it in IMAX was one of the most satisfying theater experiences I"ve had the last few years.

Was looking forward to it for over a year and I left extremely happy. Saw it twice in theaters and have the DVD

I actually didn't like it. One of the few on this board that fall into that category it seems.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Definitely the best theater experience. Saw it three times, including once on a 70mm IMAX screen.

CASE: "It's not possible."
Cooper: "No, it's necessary."

Did anyone finally understand the part with the last girl set up on the other planet and Matt goes to find her after getting off the space station near Saturn?

That girl is probably 20 years ahead of him in another galaxy. That blew my mind when I realized that after a second watching

Interstellar was one of those few movies that amazed me. Like seriously, simply, amazed me. Incredible and didn't get the praise it deserved.

Interstellar is an awesome movie. There were a couple of slapdicks on here knocking it when it came out which was weird. But few movies really stick with me and this one did.

Down vote me all day long. If you thought that movie was anywhere near good you need to see more movies. 3 hours I would like back in my life. Awful. Have a great day.
