Also, how many hours do you need to feel great? Good? AND just to make it?

I never feel tired when I lay down but always go to sleep

Great-8 hours
Good-6
Make it-2 (I have to do this far to often)

I don't get in bed unless I'm tired, or if guaranteed sex. I'm good to go with 6 hours.

I usually guilt myself into going to bed before midnight and half of the time end up being so restless I get back up. I'm usually running on somewhere around 5ish hours. My body is tired but my mind is racing.

I am great in the am with 8 hours and, if in the sack early enough, even better with 9 hours. 5 hour or less gives me the feel bands...

I never feel great when I wake up...

I feel good with 8+...

Anything under 7 and I am struggling the next day...

ETA: I am typically pretty sleepy when I go to bed and fall asleep in 30 seconds...

Less than 5 hours, unless you have big tits, I'm saying to myself "frick off" when i'm talking to you

1-3: dead on my feet (probably shouldn't even attempt to drive a car)
3-5: impaired, tired, and cranky (only drive if absolutely necessary)
6: mostly ok. I can drive, I can do stuff, just won't be 100%. Might be a little grumpy or tempermental.
7-8: 100% of my mental faculties
8-10: 100% sharp and happy as a clam
10+ happy, but lethargic and sleepy

Not tired when I lay in bed. I usually go from one to sleeping in a half a second, and that normally happens on the sofa.

Great = 5
Good = 3
Making it = 2

I think I slept 2 last night. Just remember it starting to get light and then the alarm went off at 7:30

< 4 = Wake up tired, hit wall later
5-8 = Wake up tired
8-10 = Wake up tired
10+ = Wake up maybe a little less tired

It doesn't matter a whole lot for me, really.

I've noticed that anything in the 5-9 hour range for me and I mostly feel the same.

The difference for me is what time I wake up. 6 hours of sleep and waking up at 8 or 9am, and I feel infinitely better than 9 hours of sleep waking up at 6a.

I probably get 7 hours (9pm to 4am). I'm usually dead tired and sometimes won't mind going lay down before 9 (I realize how sad that is). I usually swim before work and run after, so I'm running on fumes and need my sleep.

I tried coffee to give me a jump start yesterday for the first time in years. I like the taste of coffee but suddenly remembered why I don't drink it. 7 trips to the restroom during work. I think I'll just stick to going to bed early and getting my hours in.

I usually watch TV in bed for a half hour or so and that gets me sleepy. I fall asleep around 11:00 and wake up at 6:30. If I get some good sleep I feel pretty good with that. So I'd say 7.5 hrs..
