Anyone have one for a while that would like to offer an honest opinion on their reliability?

My wife's Mazda 6 drives great. Basically the same car except the Audi has leather seats.

Don't know about the Q's, but I'm on my second A4. I Had the first one for 9-years and never had anything major go wrong. At 100k I dropped about 3k on a bunch of stuff, but it was all normal wear & tear.

Audis are notorious for horrible reliability and electrical issues inside the can. With that being said a couple of family members have them and they haven't had any problems to speak of yet. One has a Q5 that is a couple of years old and the other has the A8 with the v12.

Q3 was all new for 2015. Probably not a whole lot with any significant mileage on them yet. The q5 has pretty solid resale value compared to audis of old. I think they've fixed a lot of the electrical gremlins they were famous for.

I dont trust German cars very much, but my wife's Q5 has given us no problems. The 8 speed transmission is flawless and made by ZF. We have the 2.0T, which is an engine Volkswagen has been using for over 10 years. We have only had it for 2 years now, but she loves it. I still dont trust it to take it on long trips very much, but that is just my ignorant thinking. I just know it will be much more expensive to fix when stuff does go wrong than my old Acura. I dont know much about the 3.0T, but it seems to be just as reliable. Audi has come a long way and is pretty reliable across the board on models 2010 and newer.

A buddy of mine is a mechanic and his shop specializes in Audi and Porsche.... He doesn't have anything nice to say about Audi reliability.

Luxury SUVs (ones that will never go offroad) are just dumb to me. It's a mini van. Why do you need the ground clearance and are you too fat to get in and out of a sedan? Americans love dumb shite, and this segment of the car market may be the best example possible.

ETA: I know I'm in the minority with this opinion, but as an owner of German luxury vehicle I appreciate what luxury vehicles offer.
