Got a big surprise from my uncle last night. Gave me his Win 7MM STW for a gift. He doesnt hunt much anymore and only shot it 3 times he said. I thought it was pretty awesome. Don't know much abt it, has anyone had any experience with a STW?

Present from Christmas WAY Past:
In 1956, when I I was 6, I got my first gun, one of those Daisy lever action BB guns. They were called a Prrrouch ( roll the Rs) in Avoyelles because of the sound they made upon firing.
Warned ahead of time bout the eye, I met the neighbor boys who had either just been endowed or had had them for years.
We terrorized Dora Bend between Cottonport and Evergreen , shooting anything that moved or didn't.
Hitlers legions would have run in total fear and crossed back over the Rhine. The Japanese would have swam away from Iwo Jima in the face of our onslaught.
We decided to storm a strategic abandoned house. I being the bravest though shortest, jumped on the porch and fired point blank at the Kraut/Jap fiend that came out the broken door. Shooting through my adversary. The powerful projectile richiceted back through the doomed man and hit me right between the eyes. It hit one of the 5 nails holding the door together. I found this out upon doing our after action report.
Maybe the first time I started believing mom and dad might know some shite!
Merry Christmas, All!

I got a Food Saver which I've been wanting. I got one of my other gifts a few weeks early, a Neato robot vacuum from my girlfriend and I'm way more excited about that I should be. I no longer have to do one of my most hated chores in my house.

It took a couple trial runs and placement of that magnetic strip but it'll do my whole house without getting hung up as long as there's nothing on the floor to catch it. Set it up to run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday while I'm at work. Performs way better than I expected too and even cleans under my bed.
