no,

watching a recent Les Miles team has diminished my enjoyment.

Miles has completely sucked the enjoyment out at times. Even the Mississippi St game I was glad to win, but that game was infuriating. Seeing him constantly stick to something that clearly is not going to work, over and over and over and over again in big time games.. has taken away so much enjoyment.

I miss at least seeing LSU dominant inferior opponents and win big bowl games..

It's not always about winning it all.. but at least be competitive.

I loved the 2006 Bowl game vs Notre dame, I miss destroying a&m in the cotton bowl.. I miss this stuff.. even when we aren't competing for a national championship.. these things propelled us towards a national title run.

No amount of info in the world should be worth the aggravation it apparently brings you.

I just love to read the same words written over and over by guys that think they are being original. Whatever is the rant of the day gets picked up my multiple people who parrot it like it is gospel.

I love reading assessments of the game/program by people that never played it and think they know it should be done just because they watch Sports Center. Guys that wouldn't know how to put a jock strap on correctly telling coaches/athletes what they SHOULD do.

I love to read the sad little comments from people that have placed all of their self esteem on the actions of a group of post adolescents. All of that angst and pain and depression over the results of an athletic contest.

I love to challenge some of the current buzz words and/or current views of the really, really silly topics and watch them squrim not being able to prove what they have written until the resort to obscenity.

No RTR. Instead of aggrivation, it is a source of amusement.

We in the best run in LSU football history and from this board one would think we were in the worst.

last 4 years SEC records of:

6-2
5-3
4-4
5-3

Certainly not the worst in our history but nowhere near acceptable.

Apparently the concerns even when LSU was undefeated were legit. Ever since Miles has been here he focuses on the output of winning instead of improving clear weaknesses in the team.

You do realize that the concerns articulated at that time were vindicated amd confirmed by subsequent events? It's hard for me to be too bitter towards other posters when they turn out to be right.

As for the initial question, our perpetual uninspired offensive play, foreseeable collapses, repeated losses to our arch nemesis, and failure to win an NC in nearly a decade have diminished my pleasure, not this board. Largely, LSU FB isn't as enjoyable as it once was because it so predictable, from the manner of the losses to the number of those losses.

How spoiled are our fans? You should talk to nearly every other (non bandwagon) college football fan in America.

You mean other than the ones at Alabama, Auburn, and Florida - three of our peer SEC programs- all of whom have won NCs more recently than LSU. In any event, you selectively plucked one item from my list without considering the rest. As I said, it's the plodding predictability of LSU FB that has eroded the joy for many fans. The outcome of each season seems preordained. And little changes in the wake of failures.

Yep. I remember the days when voicing concerns didn't result in cyberbullying and name-calling. Unfortunately I'm addicted to it. Call it gluttony for punishment if you want but I love this awful, harmful place.

No it hasn't. This site gives a true scope. Even the pumpers know they better have some collateral ready for the 2nd mortgage coming around the corner.
